The Prince of Wales this morning held a Meeting for The Prince of Wales’s Charitable Foundation.

His Royal Highness, President, Three Choirs Festival Association, this evening attended a performance of Elgar’s “the Dream of Gerontius” at Worcester Cathedral and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Worcestershire (Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Holcroft).

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Royal Honorary Colonel, Royal Wessex Yeomanry, this afternoon held a Meeting.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Prime Warden, the Fishmongers’ Company, this morning attended the Doggett’s Coat and Badge Wager Rowing Race on the River Thames, London EC4.

Her Royal Highness, President, Carers Trust, this afternoon opened the renovated Halton Carers Centre, 62 Church Street, Runcorn, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire (Mr David Briggs).

The Princess Royal, President, Royal Yachting Association, later opened the renovated facilities at Redesmere Sailing Club, Congleton Road, Siddington, Macclesfield, and was received by Mrs Joelle Warren (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this morning opened Burton Community Fire Station, Moor Street, Burton upon Trent, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire (Mr Ian Dudson).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited the Organ Donor Memorial, in support of the Organ Donor Committee, at Queen’s Hospital, Belvedere Road, Burton on Trent.

The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon unveiled the National Memorial to the Evacuation, in support of the British Evacuees Association, at the National Memorial Arboretum, Croxall Road, Alrewas, Staffordshire.

His Royal Highness, Vice Royal Patron, the Almshouse Association, afterwards opened the newly built Lichfield Almshouses at St John’s Lichfield, St John Street, Lichfield, Staffordshire.

The Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon visited New Hope Worcester Children’s Charity, 35 Wells Road, Worcester, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Worcestershire (Lieutenant-Colonel Patrick Holcroft).

Her Royal Highness later visited West Mercia Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre to mark their Thirtieth Anniversary.

The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, was represented by Lieutenant Colonel Sir Malcolm Ross (Lord Prior) at the Funeral Service of Mr Craig Troeberg (formerly Chief Executive of the Priory of South Africa) which was held in St George’s Anglican Church, Sherborne Road, Parktown, Johannesburg, South Africa, this morning.
