Buckingham Palace

Lieutenant General David Leakey was received by The Queen today upon relinquishing his appointment as Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod and delivered up the Insignia of Office.

Miss Sarah Clarke was received by Her Majesty, took the Oath upon her appointment as Lady Usher of the Black Rod and received the Insignia of Office.

Mr. Thomas Woodcock (Garter King of Arms) was in attendance and administered the Oath.

The Rt. Hon. Theresa May MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen this evening.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Marshal of the Royal Air Force the Lord Craig of Radley (formerly Chief of the Air Staff and Air Aide-de-Camp) at the Funeral of Air Chief Marshal Sir Douglas Lowe (formerly Air Aide-de-Camp) which was held in St. Mary’s Church, Byfleet, Surrey, this afternoon.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, Patron, the Campaign for Wool, this afternoon held a Council Meeting.

His Royal Highness this evening held an Accounting for Sustainability Dinner at Clarence House.

Kensington Palace

Prince Henry of Wales this afternoon visited Edinburgh Castle and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Francis Ross, the Rt. Hon. the Lord Provost).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Social Bite, 131 Rose Street, Edinburgh.

Prince Henry of Wales later attended a Reception to celebrate youth achievements at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Member, International Olympic Committee, and President, British Olympic Association, today attended the XXIII Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, Republic of Korea.

Kensington Palace

The Duchess of Gloucester, Honorary President, the Lawn Tennis Association, this afternoon received Mr. Martin Corrie (President) and Mr. Scott Lloyd (Chief Executive Officer).

St. James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Deputy Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers and Greys), today undertook engagements in Cyprus.

His Royal Highness this morning attended a Command Briefing and met soldiers from the Regiment, Ledra Palace, Nicosia.

The Duke of Kent today attended a Regimental Lunch in the Officers’ Mess, Ledra Palace.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Green Line.

The Duke of Kent afterwards visited the Mobile Force Reserve in Nicosia.

His Royal Highness later visited Gleneagles Camp and Nicosia International Airport.

The Duke of Kent this evening attended a Regimental Dinner in the Officers’ Mess at Ledra Palace.
