Windsor Castle

The Queen was represented by Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Vice Admiral Sir James Weatherall (formerly Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) which was held at St Peter’s Church, Bishops Waltham, Hampshire, this afternoon.

The Duke of Edinburgh was represented by Rear Admiral Sir Jeremy de Halpert.

The Prince of Wales was represented by Admiral Sir Jock Slater.

The Duke of York was represented by Captain Robert Guy RN.

The Princess Royal was represented by Captain Nicholas Wright RN.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge this afternoon attended a Meeting with African Foreign Ministers on the Illegal Wildlife Trade, at 1 Carlton Gardens, London SW1.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York this afternoon held a Luncheon for His Excellency Sheikh Salman Bin Khalifa Al Khalifa (Director General, Office of the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain).

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Vice Patron, Commonwealth Games Federation, this morning attended a Meeting at the InterContinental London Park Lane Hotel, 1 Hamilton Place, London W1.

The Countess of Wessex this morning visited the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, Richmond, on the occasion of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting and subsequently attended a Luncheon at Kew Palace, Royal Botanic Gardens, for spouses of the Commonwealth Heads of Government.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon departed Kemble Airfield, Gloucestershire, for Belgium and was received upon arrival this evening at Victor Billet Airfield by Mr Alan Campbell (Deputy Head of Mission, British Embassy in Brussels).

Captain Russell Bond is in attendance.
