The Prince of Wales this morning opened the newly restored Bridport Literary and Scientific Institute, 51 East Street, Bridport, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dorset (Mr Angus Campbell).

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York today carried out the following engagements in Guizhou, China.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Lunch held by the Chinese Academy of Sciences at Fast Hotel, Kedu Town.

The Duke of York later visited the Five Hundred Metre Aperture Spherical Telescope, Pingtang County.

His Royal Highness afterwards visited a Chinese Crafts Project, Pingtang County.

The Duke of York this evening called upon the Governor of Guizhou (Madame Shen Yiqin) and Mr Sun Zhigang (Guizhou Party Secretary) at the Hyatt Regency, 7 Shongtian Road, Guanshanhu District, Guiyang.

His Royal Highness later attended a Dinner with Madame Fu Ying (Chairman of the National People’s Congress Foreign Affairs Committee) at the Hyatt Regency.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, today carried out the following engagements in Williamsburg, Virginia, United States of America.

His Royal Highness this morning visited the Jamestown Settlement, 2110 Jamestown Road.

The Duke of Gloucester today attended a Luncheon at Presentation Hall, Jamestown Settlement.

His Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner at the Governor’s Palace, 300 Palace Green Street.

Buckingham Palace

Princess Alexandra, Royal Patron, this afternoon visited the offices of the Alzheimer’s Society, 43-44 Crutched Friars, London EC3, during Dementia Action Week.
