The Prince of Wales, Royal Honorary Colonel, this afternoon presented The Queen’s Own Yeomanry with a new Regimental Guidon at Bramham Park, Wetherby, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire (Mr Edmund Anderson).

The Duchess of Rothesay, Chancellor, the University of Aberdeen, this afternoon attended the world première of Paul Mealor’s Requiem: the Souls of the Righteous for the Centenary of the end of the First World War, St Mary’s Cathedral, Edinburgh, and was received by Mrs Elaine Aitken (Deputy Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh).

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Irish Regiment (27th (Inniskilling), 83rd, 87th and The Ulster Defence Regiment), this morning presented new Colours to 1st and 2nd Battalions at Titanic Slipway, Queen’s Road, Titanic Quarter, Belfast, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County Borough of Belfast (Mrs Fionnuala-Jay O’Boyle).

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, today undertook engagements in New York City, New York, United States of America.

His Royal Highness this morning attended a Meeting at Sofitel Hotel, 45 West 44th Street.

The Earl of Wessex later attended a Reception in the Gardens of the Explorers Club, 46 East 70th Street.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Reception.

The Earl of Wessex this evening departed from John F Kennedy International Airport for the United Kingdom.
