Buckingham Palace

His Excellency Mr Manoah Esipisu was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of Kenya in London.

Mrs Waithiegeni Kanguru-Esipisu was also received by Her Majesty.

Her Excellency Mrs Aleksandra Joksimovic was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Serbia to the Court of St James’s.

Mr Sinisa Krajcinovic was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

His Excellency the Hon Kim Beazley was received in audience by The Queen this afternoon and kissed hands upon his appointment as Governor of Western Australia.

Ms Susanna Annus was also received by Her Majesty.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Sir Christopher Mallaby (formerly Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Germany) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Sir Nigel Broomfield (formerly Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Germany) which was held in the Guards’ Chapel, Wellington Barracks, Birdcage Walk, London SW1, this afternoon.

The Duke and Duchess of Kent were represented by Mr Nicholas Turnbull.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall today carried out engagements in Havana, Cuba.

Their Royal Highnesses this morning attended a rally of classic British cars and motorcycles, John Lennon Square.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall subsequently visited Empresa de Grabaciones y Ediciones Musicales Recording Studios.

The Prince of Wales later visited Solar Mariel photovoltaic park.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Finca Marta Organic Farm.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended a Gala Dance Performance at the Gran Teatro de la Habana Alicia Alonso.

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon attended a round table discussion on domestic violence, Federation of Cuban Women.

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Paso a Paso dance club.

The Duke of York today carried out the following engagements in Manama, Bahrain:

His Royal Highness, Vice-Admiral, this morning visited the United Kingdom Naval Support Facility at Mina Salman Port and was received by His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa.

The Duke of York, Founder Pitch@Palace, today received Pitch@Palace Bahrain 2.0 entrepreneurs at the offices of Tamkeen, attended a Lunch and subsequently visited Export Bahrain.

His Royal Highness, Chancellor, University of Huddersfield, this afternoon visited Royal University for Women, West Riffa.

The Duke of York, Founder, Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award, afterwards visited the University of Bahrain.

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex this afternoon arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from the United Arab Emirates.

Brigadier John Smedley was in attendance.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Leeds Children’s Hospital, this morning opened the Cardiac Hybrid Suite and Children’s Magnetic Resonance Imaging Scanner at Leeds Children’s Hospital, Clarendon Wing, Leeds General Infirmary, Leeds, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire (Mr Edmund Anderson).

Her Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps, this afternoon attended the Chief Nursing Officer Symposium at Defence Medical Services, Whittington, Lichfield, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire (Mr Ian Dudson).

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, Scotland’s Churches Trust, today attended a Reception at Bothwell Parish Church, 46 Main Street, Bothwell, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lanarkshire (the Lady Haughey).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened Autism Resources Coordination Hub, Reid Street, Hamilton, and was received by Mr Gavin Whitefield (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Lanarkshire).
