Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge this morning visited Christchurch Hospital, 2 Riccarton Avenue, Christchurch, New Zealand.

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Masjid Al Noor, 101 Deans Avenue, Riccarton, Christchurch.

The Duke of Cambridge this afternoon visited Burwood Hospital, 300 Burwood Road, Burwood, Christchurch.

His Royal Highness later visited Linwood Masjid, 223A Linwood Avenue, Linwood, Christchurch.

The Duke of Cambridge subsequently laid a wreath at the Oi Manawa Canterbury Earthquake National Memorial, Montreal Street, Christchurch Central.

His Royal Highness afterwards received the Governor-General of New Zealand (the Rt Hon Dame Patricia Reddy) at Auckland International Airport and subsequently departed for the United Kingdom.

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this morning opened the Chirdon Head Expedition Centre, Kielder, part of the Cramlington Voluntary Youth Project, and was received by Mrs Bryony Gibson (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Northumberland).

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this afternoon visited Bede Academy, Sixth Avenue, Blyth, and was received by Colonel Benjamin Speke (Deputy Lieutenant of Northumberland).v
