The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this morning visited the 1st Macduff Scout Hut, Buchan Street, Macduff, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Banffshire (Mrs Oliver Russell).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Vanilla Ink — the Smiddy, Old Market Place, Banff.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York this afternoon visited WaveOptics, 141 Park Drive, Milton Park, Abingdon, and was received by Mr Brian Buchan (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire).

St James’s Palace

The Countess of Wessex this morning arrived at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad, and was received by Mr Andrew Fleming (British Deputy High Commissioner to the Republic of India).

Her Royal Highness, Vice-Patron, The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust, later attended a Reception at the Taj Krishna Hotel, Road Number 1, Mada Manzil, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

The Countess of Wessex, Vice-Patron, The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust, subsequently visited Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, Musheerabad, Secunderabad.

Her Royal Highness, Vice-Patron, The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust, this afternoon visited LV Prasad Eye Institute, Kallam Anji Reddy Campus, LV Prasad Marg, Banjara Hills.

The Countess of Wessex, Vice-Patron, The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust, afterwards attended a Lunch with staff and government officials at LV Prasad Eye Institute.

Her Royal Highness this evening attended a Reception at the Residence of the British Deputy High Commissioner to the Republic of India in Hyderabad.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Royal Patron, National Coastwatch Institution, this morning visited Bass Point Station, the Lizard, Helston, and subsequently attended a Twenty Fifth Anniversary Reception at Royal Naval Air Station Culdrose, Helston, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall (Colonel Edward Bolitho).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited United Downs Deep Geothermal Project, United Downs Industrial Park, St Day, Redruth, Cornwall.

The Princess Royal, Patron, Sense, the National Deafblind and Rubella Association, later visited the Get Out There Group, Penventon Park Hotel, West End, Redruth, Cornwall, to mark its Tenth Anniversary.
