By command of The Queen, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Koji Tsuruoka at 23 Kensington Palace Gardens, London W8, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from Japan to the Court of St James’s.

The Duke of Sussex this morning attended a Terrence Higgins Trust HIV awareness event at Twickenham Stoop Stadium, Langhorn Drive, Twickenham, Middlesex, in advance of National HIV Testing Week, and was received by Mrs Rosemary Prescott (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Duke of York, Commodore-in-Chief, Fleet Air Arm, was represented by Captain Robert Guy RN at the Service of Thanksgiving for Admiral Sir Desmond Cassidi (formerly Second Sea Lord) which was held in St John the Baptist Church, Pitney, Somerset, this afternoon.

The Princess Royal, Patron, YSS Limited, this morning attended a Roundtable Discussion and Reception at Hereford Football Ground, Edgar Street, Hereford, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Herefordshire (the Dowager Countess of Darnley).
Her Royal Highness, Patron, Sense — the National Deafblind and Rubella Association, this afternoon visited TouchBase Wales, Caerphilly Business Park, Caerphilly, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gwent (Brigadier Robert Aitken).
