Windsor Castle

The Queen held a Council via video link at 11.30am.

There were present: the Rt Hon Jacob Rees-Mogg MP (Lord President), the Rt Hon George Eustice MP (Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs), the Baroness Evans of Bowes Park (Leader of the House of Lords and Lord Privy Seal) and the Rt Hon Anne-Marie Trevelyan MP (Secretary of State for International Development).

Mr Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.

The Duchess of Cornwall, President, WOW — Women of the World Festival, this morning held a Meeting with Ms Jude Kelly (Founder) via video link.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge this morning participated in a Meeting, via video link, to discuss the Covid-19 vaccine trial with representatives from Astrazeneca, the University of Oxford, Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, and the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations.

His Royal Highness, Colonel, Irish Guards, this afternoon spoke to soldiers from 1st Battalion via video link.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge later spoke to members of staff from Surrey Memorial Hospital, British Colombia, Canada, via video link.

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Royal Colonel, 2nd Battalion The Rifles, this morning held a Meeting with Lieutenant Colonel Sam Cates (Commanding Officer) via telephone.

The Countess of Wessex, Grand President, St John Ambulance in the Priory of England and the Islands, this morning visited the St John Ambulance Operational Support Hub at Unit 32, Regents Trade Park, Barwell Lane, Gosport, Hampshire.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, The King’s Royal Hussars, this morning inspected the Regiment on public duties at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, London SW3, via video link.

Her Royal Highness, Fourth Warden, the Fishmongers’ Company, this afternoon participated in a Court Meeting via a video conference call.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Deputy Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Logistic Corps, this morning held a Meeting with Colonel Jonathan West (Corps Colonel) via telephone.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, SeeAbility, this morning held a Meeting with Ms Lisa Hopkins (Chief Executive) via telephone.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, St John’s School, afterwards held a Meeting with Mrs Rowena Cole (Headteacher) via telephone.
