Windsor Castle

His Excellency Mr Sarafa Tunji Isola was received in audience by The Queen today via video link and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Federal Republic of Nigeria in London.

Mrs Isola was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Zakri Jaafar was received in audience by The Queen via video link and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Malaysia to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Nor Aini Abdul Rahman was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir Philip Barton (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.

The Duke of Cambridge, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, this morning attended the Emergency Services Mental Health Symposium at Camden House, Camden Lock Place, Chalk Farm Road, London NW1, and was received by Mr Simon Ovens (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this afternoon chaired a Meeting via video link.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, the Brendoncare Foundation, this morning received Mr Joseph McHale upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman and Mr Philip Dowson upon assuming the appointment.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Step by Step, 36 Crimea Road, Aldershot, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr Nigel Atkinson).

The Princess Royal, President, British Olympic Association, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended the Team GB Ball at Evolution London, Chelsea Bridge Gate, Battersea Park, Queenstown Road, London SW11, and was received by Mrs Colleen Harris (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Nuffield Farming Scholarships Trust, this morning attended the Nuffield Farming Conference at Whittlebury Park, Towcester, Northamptonshire.

His Royal Highness, Patron-in-Chief, the Friends of St Clement Danes, this evening attended the Annual Concert at the Royal Air Force Church of St Clement Danes, Strand, London WC2.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal Patron, Cathedral Music Trust’s Diamond Fund for Choristers, this morning received Mr Peter Allwood (Chairman, Cathedral Music Trust), Mrs Felicity Pattenden (Director, Diamond Fund for Choristers) and Ms Natasha Morris (Development Director, Cathedral Music Trust).

Her Royal Highness, President, this evening attended a performance of “L’heure espagnole” and “Gianni Schicchi” at the Royal Academy of Music, Marylebone Road, London NW1.
